This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the activities that are prohibited when using the QDES website or any QDES product, demo, or trial environment.

1. Purpose

This policy exists to keep QDES products safe, reliable, and lawful for everyone. It applies to all visitors, demo users, and customers, in addition to our Terms of Use and Demo Terms.

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the website or any QDES product to engage in the following:

  • Illegal use of any kind, or use that violates the rights of others
  • Violating the privacy of others, including unauthorised collection or disclosure of personal data
  • Uploading data you are not authorised to share, including third-party confidential or personal data
  • Security testing, penetration testing, or vulnerability scanning without QDES’s prior written permission
  • Scraping, crawling, or systematically extracting data from the website or any QDES product
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to derive source code, prompts, or model logic
  • Reselling, sublicensing, or granting third parties access to QDES products without authorisation
  • Uploading or distributing malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Generating, uploading, or distributing harmful, abusive, discriminatory, or unlawful content
  • Attempting to bypass rate limits, authentication, or other usage controls
  • Misusing AI-generated outputs, including presenting them as verified fact without review, or using them to harm others

3. AI Output Responsibility

You are responsible for how you use AI-generated outputs from QDES products. Outputs should be reviewed before being relied upon, and must not be used to mislead, discriminate against, or harm any person or organisation.

4. Enforcement

QDES may investigate suspected violations and may limit, suspend, or terminate access for any account or session found to be in breach of this policy, without prior notice where necessary to protect the security or integrity of our systems.
