Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the QDES website, product demonstrations, and AI applications operated by QDES (CVR 42351830), a company based in Denmark.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, requesting a demo, or using any QDES product or service, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the website or our products.

2. Evaluation and Demo Use

Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, access to QDES products through this website — including demos, trial environments, and sample outputs — is provided for evaluation purposes only. See our Demo Terms for additional conditions that apply to demo access.

3. Account and Access Rules

Where an account, login, or API key is issued, you are responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for activity that occurs under your account. Access is personal to the individual or organisation it was issued to and may not be shared, sold, or transferred without QDES's written consent.

4. Prohibited Use

You may not use the website or any QDES product to: violate applicable law; scrape, crawl, or harvest data beyond normal browsing; reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code, prompts, or model logic; benchmark or compare QDES products without written permission; resell, sublicense, or commercially host QDES software; or attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or usage controls. See our Acceptable Use Policy for the full list of prohibited activities.

5. Ownership and Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, QDES owns all right, title, and interest in its software, product names, logos, workflows, prompts, documentation, source code, designs, demos, screenshots, architecture, and other proprietary methods (the "QDES IP"). Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the QDES IP to you. See our IP / Copyright Notice for further detail.

6. Customer Data and User Content

Files, datasets, and other content you upload to a QDES product ("Customer Data") remain your property. You grant QDES a limited right to process Customer Data solely to provide the requested service. QDES does not claim ownership of Customer Data and does not use it to train models for other customers unless separately agreed in writing.

7. AI-Generated Outputs Disclaimer

QDES products may use artificial intelligence, including large language models, to generate summaries, analyses, recommendations, or other outputs. AI-generated outputs may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies and should be reviewed by a qualified person before being relied upon for any operational, safety, quality, financial, or compliance decision.

9. Availability and Changes

QDES may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website or a product, and may update these Terms, at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

[Placeholder — to be finalised with legal counsel.] To the maximum extent permitted by law, QDES and its officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the website or a QDES product, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunity, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable Danish or EU law.

11. Governing Law

[Placeholder — to be confirmed with legal counsel.] These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Denmark, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer-protection law.
