Demo Terms

Last updated: 2026

These Demo Terms apply whenever QDES grants you access to a product demonstration, trial environment, or sample outputs for evaluation purposes.

1. Nature of Demo Access

Demo access is temporary, revocable, non-transferable, and provided solely so you can evaluate a QDES product. It does not constitute a purchase, subscription, or license to use the product in production.

2. No Production Use

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, demo environments must not be used for production, operational, or business-critical workflows. Outputs generated during a demo should be treated as illustrative, not authoritative.

3. Prohibited Actions

During a demo, you may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, prompts, or model logic; scrape or systematically extract data from the environment; benchmark or publicly compare the product without QDES's written permission; or resell, sublicense, or grant others access to the demo.

4. Data Submitted During Demos

Do not upload sensitive, confidential, or personal data into a demo environment unless QDES has expressly approved this in writing. Where sample or anonymised data is required, QDES can advise on suitable test data.

5. No Guarantee of Outputs

Demo outputs — including AI-generated content — are provided "as is" for evaluation and are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.

6. Suspension and Termination

QDES may limit, suspend, or remove demo access at any time, with or without notice, including where these terms are not respected or where continued access is no longer commercially appropriate.

7. Watermarking of Demo Materials

Documents, reports, or other materials generated during a demo may include watermark text such as "Generated by QDES Demo — Evaluation Use Only" and should not be presented as final, production-grade deliverables.

8. Contact

These Demo Terms supplement our general Terms of Use. For questions about a demo, contact info@qdes.org.
